Maintaining your filters is very important for the optimum functioning of your vacuum. To reduce the risk of overheating it is recommended to clean the filters every time the dirt bin is full and to replace them every 3-6 months.  If you have pets more frequent cleaning and replacement may be advisable.

Remember to take extra care when using your BISSELL on very thick carpet to minimise the risk of surface or carpet damage and be careful if anything has been caught in the brushroll. Refer to troubleshooting tips in the User Manual if the belt is broken, if there is a burning smell  or if the brush doesn’t spin.
